A woman and her dog stuck in a stalled convertible were rescued from rising floodwaters by three men on a boat Saturday.

The men pulled up in a boat after seeing the woman’s car nearly full of water and heard her shouting for help, according to video from WAFB.

The woman can be heard yelling from inside the car: "Oh my God, I'm drowning."

One of the rescuers, David Phung, jumps into the murky water and pulls the woman to safety. She pleads with him to get her dog, which at first he can't find.

"No, she better not be (gone)," the woman said.

Phung takes a deep breath, goes underwater and resurfaces moments later with the small dog.
