When Mechaele Loraffe, of Buchanan, Michigan, spotted a beam of light shooting into the sky, she says she just had to stop and snap a photo.
Her picture appears to show a cross made of pure sunlight shooting out of the horizon. Loraffe says she only saw the cross after she took the photo.
The photo has gone viral since it was shared by WSBT meteorologist Matt Rudkin.
