According to a criminal complaint, Cole first started the three-week string of robberies at a religious goods store. Police say she also robbed a bubble tea restaurant, cake shop, a GNC, a Sally Beauty Supply and a Subway restaurant and attempted to rob a CVS Pharmacy, Albuquerque Journal reported. The complaint said that, in one robbery, Cole disguised her voice to sound like a man.

"She like drew the gun from the towel, and she was like, 'Give me the money,' and I was just so shocked by it," Megan Samora, an employee at Nothing Bundt Cakes, told KOB.

Authorities tracked down Cole by locating a vehicle she was in from surveillance video. She did not speak to officers when she was arrested

The Albuquerque Journal reported that Cole faces seven counts of robbery with a deadly weapon in connection with the alleged robberies.

As of Friday, Cole remained at the Metropolitan Detention Center, according to reports.
