We've heard of petty theft. This may be considered penny theft.
A New Jersey woman admitted to police that she took 95 cents in change from a fountain in a New Jersey mall, NJ.com reported.
Erica Ramos was arrested and charged with theft. But police were not called to the Moorestown Mall over the wet change. Rather, police said Ramos had a device intended to make shoplifting easier.
Police said Ramos had a foil-lined bag, called a booster bag, that renders security sensors useless.
Police said they wouldn't usually arrest someone for taking money from a wishing well, but they said Ramos she admitted taking the coins after police responded to a report of an attempted shoplifting.
