A Pittsburgh-area woman accused of punching an EMT in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, was facing charges Monday.

According to a criminal complaint, Patricia Thompson of Wilkinsburg motioned the ambulance to pull over Saturday on Brinton Road near Lincoln Highway.

Police said Thompson accused the EMT of hitting her car without stopping.

The EMT, who works for Amserv, LTD Dusan Ambulance in Dubois, told police that Thompson pulled her from the ambulance and began punching her.

Video recorded by a witness and posted on YouTube appears to show part of the altercation.

Thompson faces assault charges.
