Winning ticket for $530M Mega Millions jackpot sold in California
One lucky ticket matched all six numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing.

June 8, 2019One ticket in California matched all six numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing to win the estimated $530 million jackpot. lottery officials said in a news release Saturday morning.

The winning numbers were 17, 19, 27, 40 and 68 -- with a gold Mega Ball 2, according to the news release.

It was the seventh largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the largest since a $1.5 billion prize was awarded last October.
There had not been a Mega Millions winner since March 12, when a ticket in Missouri matched all six numbers.
The jackpot resets to $40 million for its next drawing Tuesday, contest officials said.
