Will Michigan State win it all? One analyst thinks so

Sept 3, 2015

College football starts tonight, which means the predictions are really kicking into high gear.

One of this year's top teams, Michigan State, has also been one of the most consistent in recent memory.

The Spartans begin the regular season in the top 10 in both major polls, and one ESPN anaylst thinks they are going to win it all this year.

Travis Haney has Michigan State beating Oklahoma in the national championship game, which will be played in Glendale, Arizona, this year. Texas A&M and Arizona State round out Haney's four playoff teams.

Of course it won't be easy for Michigan State, as defending champion Ohio State hosts the Spartans in a late season showdown on Nov. 21.

Newly revived in-state rival Michigan, led by Jim Harbaugh, welcomes the Spartans on Oct. 17 also, and one of last year's four best teams, Oregon, comes to town next week.

A national title win for the Spartans, with their strong defense and previous bowl wins, is certainly within the realm of possibility.
