18-wheeler splits in half, plunges off overpass

April 7, 2019A driver lost control of a semitruck in the rain Sunday and hit a barricade, which caused the truck to split in half and plunge off the side of an overpass.
The driver was OK and did not need to go to the hospital, WOAI reported. There were no other injuries.
The highway was closed for hours.
