A wealthy Indian businessman is showing his love for his daughter through his generosity for the less fortunate.
According to India Today, Ajay Munot runs a wholesale business in Maharashtra, India. He set aside money for his daughter's wedding, but instead of using the 80 lakhs, or $130,000, for the wedding, he used it to construct 90 homes for people living in the slums of India.
"This is the new chapter in history and I hope that the same concept will be followed by the other rich communities," Munot said. according to the New Indian Express.
His daughter said she couldn’t be more pleased with her father’s generosity.
“I am very happy with the decision and will consider it as my marriage gift,” she said.
