By Kamron Taylor
May 5, 2016In a controversial viral video, a trip to the grocery store turns ugly when a woman calls out a man for using food stamps at the Walmart checkout counter.
The profanity-laden video, uploaded to YouTube on April 24, has been viewed more than 3.8 million times, sparking headlines and heated discussions on social media.
In the clip, the man can be heard telling the woman, "I’m trying to provide for my family."
To that, the woman replies, “You’re not paying for it, I am — the government is.”
“Contact your local senators and congressmen and issue a complaint," he says. "Vote Republican. I’m sorry; I don’t know what to tell you."
The customer quickly snaps back, “Trust me, I am not a bleeding heart (expletive) liberal.”
She later tells the man that he must be a Bernie Sanders supporter.
"That's who you vote for," she says. "They give it to you, so you vote that way."
