Talk about a wild pitch.
According to The Associated Press, a ceremonial first pitch by a Chicago White Sox "employee of the month" went so far outside that it struck the camera of the on-field photographer who was trying to snap her picture.
Video of the moment, which happened before Tuesday's Royals-White Sox game at Guaranteed Rate Field, quickly went viral as social media users dubbed the unidentified woman's throw "the worst first pitch ever."
Others compared the blunder to rapper 50 Cent's famous flub five years ago.
The photographer, Darren Georgia, took to Twitter after the incident.
"Happy to report that both myself and the camera are okay," he tweeted Tuesday evening.
The White Sox also shared Georgia's photo with the caption, "Life comes at you pretty fast."
