An adorable video of a Kansas toddler reading a bedtime story to his two pit bulls has gone viral.

According to KCTV, Jenna Bearde's rambunctious pit bulls, Ronnie and Macy, are full of energy – that is, until her 2-year-old son, River, reads to them and sends them to dreamland.

"He started reading to them and it ended up being instant," Bearde, a Spring Hill resident, told KCTV last week. "I pulled out the video camera and started shooting."

The video, originally shared on Bearde's Facebook page for Ronnie, a rescue dog, has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
