When hailing a rideshare vehicle, you never know who will be in the driver’s seat – and rarely do you expect it to be a star NFL player.

Lyft passengers who recently had the surprise of their commute when Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman switched to drive mode.

Sherman talks to his passengers – some who recognize him, some who don’t – about the draft, Beast Mode and fans at games.

But conversations didn’t stop at just football.

“These sorry drivers, stop at the stop sign,” Sherman says. “Come on. I feel like these guys shouldn’t share the road.”

“I would have thrown the flag on both of them. Personal foul. Unnecessary driving,” he said.

At the end of the rides, Sherman reveals he’s the famous cornerback to passengers – many breaking out in expressions of disbelief.
