A South Carolina police officer is being credited with saving a man's life after his car caught fire while he was unconscious inside.
Mount Holly Corporal Adam Willis said he received the call early Saturday morning and rushed to the scene.

In the dash cam video, Willis can be seen running up to the car with a fire extinguisher to try and put out the flames. He said that's when he realized someone was inside the car.
"Only thing I could think of was, 'Please don't be dead.' That's the only thing," Willis said. "The fire department told me after that in one or two more minutes he might've perished."
Police said the man was severely intoxicated and didn't remember what happened.
Willis said he learned a lesson -- to always keep a fire extinguisher handy.
