Remember the time Miley Cyrus called out Nicki Minaj for the way she handled herself during that whole Taylor Swift-MTV Video Music Awards nomination controversy?

Well, Minaj definitely does. And she made sure to let Cyrus know during the awards Sunday night.

"And now, back to this [expletive] that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what's good?" (Courtesy of MTV)

Minaj was ever-so-bluntly referring to an interview that Cyrus gave to The New York Times during which she commented on Minaj's "not very polite" response to not being nominated for Video of the Year.

And judging by the look on Cyrus' face, the wacky host wasn't expecting that hand-off.

"We're all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate [expletive]. Nicki, congratu-[expletive]-lations," Cyrus replied.
