A woman seated behind the Charlotte Hornets' bench suffered a bloody nose when a hard tipped pass hit her in the face during Wednesday night's game against the Sacramento Kings.
The woman wasn't paying attention, instead looking down at the cellphone of the person next to her when the ball arrived, knocking her glasses off.
Seemingly more embarrassed than injured, she was later seen laughing and fixed the problem with a few tissues given to her by the team's event staff.
She stayed to watch the remainder of the Kings' 113-106 win.
It happened in the second quarter when Hornets guard Gerald Henderson tried to avoid catching a hard pass that had been tipped by a Kings player. The ball sailed through his hands, over Charlotte's bench and into the third row.
Hornets public relations had no information to release on what happened.
