Walt Disney World enthusiasts now have to pay more for an annual pass.
The new prices kicked in Tuesday:
- Disney Platinum Plus Pass increased to increased to $1,219 or $999 for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club Members.
- Disney Platinum Pass increased to $ 1,119 or $899 for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club Members.
- Disney Gold Pass increased to $699 and can only be purchased by Florida residents or Disney Vacation Club members.
- Disney Silver Pass increased to $599 and can only be purchased by Florida residents.
The price increase comes just two months before the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. The expansion will open Aug. 29.
