Seth Gilliam, who plays the tortured soul Father Gabriel on AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” was arrested Sunday for DUI, pot possession, reckless driving and speeding.

Gilliam was pulled over in Peachtree City, Ga., going 107 miles per hour in a 55 zone, according to police.

He was placed under arrest for reckless driving and speeding. The police found a marijuana cigarette in the vehicle and he was later charged with a DUI. He was sent to the Fayette County Jail, where he was booked.

The Citizen, which covers Fayette County, broke the story earlier today.

Gilliam, 46, joined the cast of “The Walking Dead” season five, which just concluded a few weeks ago. He plays a priest who boarded himself into his church and let his constituents die outside.

Gilliam's other credits include sci-fi film "Starship Troopers" (1997), HBO's "Oz" (1991-2001), HBO's "The Wire" (2002-2008)  and the recent film "Still Alice" (2014).

Production for season six of “The Walking Dead” has just begun in Senoia, Ga., where the fictional Alexandria walled neighborhood is set.
