University students walk out on columnist during panel

British columnist and TV personality Katie Hopkins is no stranger to controversial views.
Recent months have seen her express unhappiness with how a refugee crisis has been handled, including calling refugees cockroaches. She also advocated for the use of gunships to stop migrants.
So when she was invited on a Brunel University panel titled "Does the Welfare State have a place in 2015?" students peacefully assembled, then walked out when she started speaking, according to The Independent.
The incident was caught on video.
Among the reasons for students' displeasure with Hopkins is they felt she brought no "valuable intellectual insight," student body president Ali Milani said.
About 50 people walked out, the report says.
