The personal effects of Ted Kaczynski, aka the Unabomber, will be sold via an online auction by the U.S. Marshals beginning May 18. Proceeds from the auction will be used to compensate Kaczynski’s victims.

The personal effects of Ted Kaczynski, aka the Unabomber, will be sold via an online auction by the U.S. Marshals beginning May 18. Among those items is the famed hoodie depicted in the infamous sketch of the mysterious Unabomber.

On sale is the L3 Smith-Corona portable manual typewriter that Kaczynski used to type most of his Unabomber documents, including the "Manifesto." This typewriter was seized by the FBI during the search of his cabin in April 1996.

One of the lots being sold in an online auction of the personal effects of Kaczynski, include his aviator sunglasses. Kaczynski used different methods to disguise his identity, including several sunglasses.

One of Kaczynski's home-made "tool kits" is among the items for sale.

Kaczynski's shoes, fashioned to hide his footprints, are on the auction block. Proceeds from the auction will be used to compensate Kaczynski's victims.

This lot contains an individual picture of Theodore Kaczynski and another with Theodore, his brother David and their father.

Kaczynski kept small tools in several make-shift containers. He produce his explosive devices all by hand, without assistance of power tools.

Among the other items on sale are Kaczynski's diplomas from Harvard University and the University of Michigan.

Kaczynski's personal items, including his personal identification and birth certificate are among the items for sale.
