Two brothers died minutes apart Friday in separate all-terrain vehicle crashes, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Kyle Foster, 43, of Tucson, Arizona, and Jeremie Foster, 47, of Fargo, North Dakota, died when the ATVs they were driving rolled in separate incidents north of Eckelson, KVLY reported.

According to authorities, Kyle Foster was traveling west on a gravel road toward a farm when he lost control of his ATV and rolled into a slough, The Jamestown Sun reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the newspaper reported.

Jeremie Foster, who was driving ahead of his brother and did not see the crash, retraced his route, and while traveling north on a highway lost control and rolled his ATV, the Sun reported. He was also traveling to a farm, KVLY reported. Jeremie Foster was pronounced dead at an area hospital, according to the Sun.

According to state troopers, alcohol was a factor in both crashes, the newspaper reported. Neither driver wore a helmet.
