A trailer filled with $5,000 worth of Little Debbie snacks has been found, police said.
The owner, a Little Debbie salesman, said he had recently stocked the trailer before parking it overnight Tuesday at a mini-storage facility When he arrived at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, the trailer full of snacks was gone.
"People made a few comments and I really wasn't too crazy about them," owner Ray Frazier told KAIT. "I guess they're thinking it's Little Debbie's, it's just Little Debbie's. But hey, you're talking $10,000, $15,000 worth of stuff and it's mine. That's my business. If I had lost that totally, yes I got insurance to cover all the stuff, but the down time I'm out, I'm out my working days, and the stores, they have to suffer because I don't have the product to fill them up right."
Police said they found the trailer Wednesday night in nearby Mississippi County. The trailer’s padlocks and license plates had been changed. Two female suspects were arrested.
None of the snack cakes were missing. Frazier has gotten new padlocks to prevent further theft.
