Pro golfer Tiger Woods will open his first restaurant and sports bar in South Florida project officials announced Tuesday.
The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club will open at Harbourside Place in Jupiter, a $150 million mixed-use waterfront complex.
Woods' restaurant will take a 5,900-square-foot space next to an amphiteater and marina , according to Nicholas Mastroianni II, developer of Harbourside Place.
Stores in Harbourside will begin to open next month and continue to open through November. A grand opening is planned for December, Mastroianni said.
According to a blogger for the Golf Channel, Woods' new bar could prove to be a hot spot for many PGA Tour players, who have moved to South Florida in recent years.
