Thousands get naked for photo shoot

Thousands of naked people participated in a photo shoot in Vienna.

U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick, instructs volunteers during a massive photo session Sunday. The event took place at Vienna's Ernst-Happel stadium, which will host the Euro 2008 soccer championship.

Participants in the project are unpaid, but will receive a signed copy of the final work. The event was sponsored by the Kunsthalle museum of Vienna as part of an art program run in conjunction with the soccer tournament.

Photographer Spencer Tunick, who is from New York, has done several large scale nude photo projects.

Tunick hoped to have 2008 volunteers, but had to settle for 1,840. Each will receive a signed print from the final work.
