An ice storm hit Oklahoma hard leaving thousands without power and an official disaster declaration for the state Sunday.
In the wake of the storms, the image of ice melting from a speed limit sign in Mustang, Oklahoma went viral.
"Ice storm 2015 has started to melt," @barbiereif posted on Twitter Sunday.
Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. said more than 53,000 homes and businesses remain without power. Gov. Mary Fallin issued a disaster declaration for the state.
