1. Trump Jr. interview: In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Donald Trump Jr. said he "probably would have done things a little differently" in taking a meeting with a Russian attorney soon after his father won the Republican nomination for president. Trump Jr. spoke with Sean Hannity Tuesday, several hours after he released an email chain of conversations with music publicist Rob Goldstone. Goldstone set up the June 9, 2016, meeting with attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya. In the email chain, Goldstone told Trump Jr. that Veselnitskaya would have "some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary [Clinton]" as part of "Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump." Trump Jr. responded, "if it's what you say I love it."

2. Assange help: Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, said on Tuesday that he had counseled Donald Trump Jr. to release emails about the meeting he had with a Russian attorney. Assange said via Twitter that he advised Trump Jr. to release the emails before they were released by The New York Times. Assange said he told Trump Jr. to release them via WikiLeaks. Trump Jr. released them through his own Twitter account.
