Trump endorsement: Donald Trump picked up his first endorsement from a sitting senator Sunday when Alabama Republican Jeff Sessions came out in support of the New York businessman's bid for the White House. "The American people are not happy with their government. So some say we should forget it, there is an opportunity this year, Tuesday, the last opportunity we have for the people's voice to be heard. Has the government fixed immigration? Donald Trump will do it," Sessions told a crowd in Huntsville, Ala. "I am pleased to endorse Donald Trump for the presidency of the United States."
5. Another Trump endorsement: Donald Trump found himself being slammed from all sides Sunday after he said in a CNN interview that he didn't know enough about David Duke to disavow an endorsement by the former head of the Ku Klux Klan. On Friday, Trump, after being asked about the endorsement from Duke on Friday, said "All right, I disavow, ok?" He had said then he knew nothing about Duke or the endorsement. On Sunday after the CNN interview, Trump tried to clarify his remarks using Twitter.
