What to know now:

1. The debates: Donald Trump's campaign says it has issues with the schedule for the upcoming presidential debates because two of the debates will be up against popular NFL games. Trump, the GOP nominee  for president, complained via Twitter Friday night: "As usual, Hillary & the Dems are trying to rig the debates so 2 are up against major NFL games. Same as last time w/ Bernie. Unacceptable!"  The non-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates chose the dates for the three presidential debates. The Republican National Committee says it isn't happy, either. (See the debate schedule here).

2. One winner: There was only one winner in the nearly $500 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday. The winning ticket was sold in New Hampshire. The  jackpot, which at the time of the drawing was $487 million, is the eighth largest jackpot in the country's history.

3. More WikiLeaks: According to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, there are more leaks of  material from Hillary Clinton's campaign to come. Assange told CNN on Friday night that "We have more material related to the Hillary Clinton campaign. … Those are extremely interesting. We will see what will come of them." WikiLeaks released material prior to the Democratic National Convention that showed the Democratic National Committee seem to favor Clinton's campaign over that of Bernie Sanders. DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz submitted her resignation over the controversy.

4. Balloon crash: The National Transportation Safety Board says a hot air balloon that crashed in Texas Saturday hit a power line prior to the accident. Sixteen people on  board the balloon were killed. According to reports, a power line was tripped at 7:42 Saturday morning, and the first call to 911 came a minute later,   There are high-tension power lines near the area where the balloon went down.

5. Harry Potter's back: It wasn't a novel and it wasn't from J.K. Rowling, but a book that came out Saturday had all the trappings of the "Harry Potter" book releases of days gone by. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," which is a script of a stage production, went on sale at 12:01 a.m. Sunday as groups around the country held midnight vigils waiting for the book to be released. The script wasn't written by Rowling, but had her blessing, and her collaboration. Playwrights Jack Thorne and John Tiffany worked with her to produce the play.

And  one more

Miss Texas, Karlie Hay, the newly-crowned Miss Teen USA, is being slammed for using racial slurs in posts that appeared on her Twitter account. Other social media users pointed out that Hay had used the slur on several posts in the past. Hay, 18, responded, "Several years ago, I had many personal struggles and found myself in a place that is not representative of who I am as a person."
