What to know now:
1. Email investigation: The FBI received a warrant Sunday that would allow them to begin reviewing emails discovered on a device seized from longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin's estranged husband, former New York congressman Anthony Weiner. The emails were discovered in the course of the investigation of Weiner who allegedly sexted with a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to congressional leaders Friday alerting them of the existence of the emails, the possible connection of some of them to the investigation of Clinton's private email server and the agency's intention of reviewing them.
2. Cosby trial: The prosecution in the Bill Cosby sexual-assault trial is set to call 13 women who said Cosby drugged and assaulted them. The women, some of the 60 who have come forward in the past year or so to accuse Cosby of assault, are part of pretrial hearings that begin Tuesday in a suburb of Philadelphia. Cosby is charged with assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. The other woman will be called to testify because testimony about similar, but uncharged acts, that shows someone has a pattern of behavior is allowed under Pennsylvania law.
3. Murder suspect killed: Michael Vance, suspected in the murders of his aunt and uncle last week in Oklahoma, was shot and killed by law enforcement officials Sunday. Vance was spotted in western Oklahoma by authorities after he shot and wounded a Dewey County (Okla.) officer and took his car. After a high-speed chase, police killed Vance in a shootout.
4. Fernandez autopsy: Florida Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was drunk and had cocaine in his system when he was killed in a boating accident last month, according to a report from ESPN. Toxicology results show Fernandez had nearly twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood when the boat he was in crashed into a Miami Beach jetty last month, killing him and two of his friends.
5. Near miss: NASA is touting its new space-monitoring system as a large asteroid is set for a near miss with Earth Monday. The asteroid was spotted last week by the system known as Scout. After discovering the asteroid on Oct. 25, Scout alerted three other telescopes to narrow down its trajectory. Within hours it was determined that it would pass close to Earth, but miss an impact.
