1. Shooting in Pittsburgh: Five people were killed and three injured when at least two people started shooting during a backyard barbeque in Pittsburgh Wednesday night. Law enforcement officials say four women and one man were killed at the home in Wilkinsburg, just east of Pittsburgh. The five were found shot on a back porch of the home.

Transplant fail: Just days after the first patient in the United States to receive a uterus transplant was released from the hospital, doctors say the woman has had to have the organ removed because of a complication. The woman, identified only as "Lindsey," is doing well after the operation, a spokesman for the Cleveland Clinic said.

The Republican's turn: A day after the Democrats debated in Miami, the Republican candidates for president will take to the stage to debate in advance of the all-important Florida primary next week. 4. Ex-priest extradited: An 83-year-old former priest is being extradited to Texas in connection with the death of a woman 56 years ago. John Feit is accused of killing Irene Garza, who was a teacher and former beauty queen, after he heard her confession one evening in 1960.
5. Gun advocate shot: A Florida woman who regularly posts pro-gun messages on social media was accidentally shot by her 4-year-old son, law enforcement officials say. Jamie Gilt was found shot in her car with her son in the backseat. "She was sitting in the driver seat and he was in the back seat, behind her. He shot straight through. The bullet entered her lower back and exited through her abdominal area. It went through her and we recovered the round inside the vehicle. It was a .45 caliber (handgun)," Capt. Joseph Wells said.
