1. Obama to Orlando: President Obama will visit Orlando on Thursday to meet with survivors and the families of those killed in the worst mass shooting in the history of the country. According to White House press secretary Josh Earnest, the president will focus on the victims of the shootings at the gay nightclub called Pulse, letting them know the country stands with them.
2. Boy's body found: The body of a 2-year-old Nebraska boy was recovered from the waters of a manmade lake at Walt Disney World on Wednesday, hours after an alligator dragged the child off a sandy beach there. The boy, Lane Graves, was playing at the water's edge when the gator pulled him into the lagoon. The child's body was found in about 6 feet of water near the spot from where he was grabbed.
3. Sanders announcement: Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will address his supporters Thursday night, via live video. While Sanders has said he plans to stay in the race for the Democratic nomination for president up until the party's convention in July, some wonder if Thursday's address will be Sanders last as a candidate.
4. Game 6: The NBA championship could be decided Thursday in Cleveland as the Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors battle in Game 6. Draymond Green, who was suspended from Game 5 after officials said he intentionally hit Cavs star LeBron James in the groin, is back for tonight's contest. The Warriors are ahead three games to two in the best-of-seven series. The game is at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
5. Filibuster on gun control: Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy (D), held the Senate floor for 14 hours as he waged a filibuster in an attempt to force a vote on gun control legislation. Murphy's filibuster came days after 49 people were shot and killed in an attack on a nightclub in Orlando. Murphy also spoke of the Newtown, Ct., shootings in 2012 where 26 children and adults were gunned down in their school at Sandy Hook Elementary. The filibuster ended when Republican Senate leaders reportedly agreed to allow votes on two gun control measures.
