A galaxy far, far away is coming to Disney.
A "Star Wars"-themed land, the largest park expansion ever, is planned for both Disney parks, officials said during the D23 Fan Expo Saturday in Anaheim, California.
How big is the largest park expansion?
A 14-acre attraction will be built at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland park in Anaheim, California, according to a post on StarWars.com.
The plans include a never-before-seen planet, trading port and a stop before space, according to the post.
"Through each new attraction and new land we create, we push the boundaries of what is possible," said Bob Iger, Disney CEO. "And as you can imagine, with 'Star Wars,' we are taking that to a whole new level, with a whole galaxy to explore."

The "Star Wars" lands will each have two signature rides including an experience piloting the Millennium Falcon, according to officials. The other ride puts riders on an adventure that includes an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance, according to Disney.
Is this the first Star Wars ride for Disney?
The Star Tours ride was the only "Star Wars"-themed ride previously at the parks. It opened in 1989 at Walt Disney World Resort, according to Disney. The ride, initially set in a spaceport travel agency, closed after 20 years.
It reopened as Star Tours - The Adventures Continue in 2011.
