"I want everyone to know that the police officer was completely in the right along with everyone else. They were completely in the right and protecting everyone. He was not out of line. I completely support him drawing his weapon or a Taser or whatever it was that he did pull because he was being attacked from behind," the woman, who declined to be identified, told CNN.

"I think he deserves a medal for what he did," she added. "I really do."

Brandon Brooks, 15, caught the incident at Craig Ranch North Community Pool on camera. Officers were called to the scene Friday evening following claims that several teens were at the pool without permission and refused to leave, but some news reports said many of the youths were invited and had passes. His video, which had 8 million views on YouTube early Tuesday, appears to show McKinney police Cpl. Eric Casebolt using profanity, slamming 15-year-old Dajerria Becton to the ground, and drawing his weapon on other teens, according to KDFW.
