After more than 100 people were killed Friday during attacks in Paris and the country's borders were closed, University of Texas officials were trying to verify the status and location of students currently studying in France, school officials said.
About 70 students of the University of Texas are studying in France this semester, a UT spokesman confirmed.
School authorities are urging parents who have information about the whereabouts of the students to call the University of Texas Police Department at 512-471-4441.
