Texas man had 7 pounds of pot delivered through FedEx, police say

Feb 28, 2019A Texas man is facing drug charges after police caught him picking up packages containing 7 pounds of marijuana Wednesday morning at a FedEx shipping center in Abilene, according to news outlets.
Police said they received a tip that Kevin Marlon Myers was receiving pot through the mail, KTXS-TV reported, and they were waiting for him.
Investigators got a search warrant and used K9 units to locate the packages at the shipping center.

When officers opened the packages, they discovered two boxes containing 7 pounds of pot, according to KTXS.
Myers was arrested at the scene and is charged with felony possession of marijuana.
He’s jailed on a $10,000 bond.
