Authorities in Kansas are investigating a brazen home invasion robbery caught on camera.

It happened last Tuesday in Overland Park. The victim, Katie O'Connor told KCTV 5 NEWS in Kansas City that she believes she was set up by a friend.  O'Connor said she told the woman that she was trying to sell some tools that belonged to an ex-boyfriend.

"I told her I was trying to sell them, and she was like, 'Oh, I might know a couple of guys looking to open their own business,'" O'Connor said.

A hidden camera inside O'Connor's apartment captured the terrifying ordeal.  In the video, O'Connor is seen being held in a chokehold by one of the men while the other cleans out the apartment. The woman O'Connor accuses of orchestrating the robbery is seen nervously pacing around the apartment.

"I thought it was on a personal level though, I thought she just wanted to be my friend," O'Connor said.

The men made off with cash, the tools and a safe.

Overland Park police are now investigating.
