Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers seized 691 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop west of Nashville on Sunday, WZTV reported.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop in Dickson County, pulling over a vehicle towing another vehicle on a trailer on Interstate 40.

The driver, identified as Jorge Gusman, appeared nervous during the stop, troopers said. As the troopers checked the vehicle identification number, Gusman fled the scene, WZTV reported.

Troopers caught Gusman, who then consented to have his vehicle searched. Troopers found 28 bales of marijuana weighing 691 pounds hidden under blankets, WZTV reported.

Gusman was arrested and is being held in the Dickson County Jail on $105,000 bond.
