A teen taking a selfie with a squirrel in Florida got into a nutty situation.
Brian Genest, 17, was visiting Palm Harbor from Maine when his family decided to go for a hike in a park near Tampa.
While walking on one of the bridged pathways, Genest spotted the squirrel and decided to take a selfie.
But after the flash of the camera, the squirrel decided he did not want his picture taken.
"I saw the squirrel and decided to take a picture with it," he said. "He jumped on my shoulder and went down my shirt."
Genest's mother, Paula, took pictures while he tried to get the squirrel off his back.
The entire family thought it was funny, and they are still laughing.
"I was thinking this is going to be hilarious," Paula said.
Neither the squirrel or Genest were injured.
"I ended up doing a stop, drop and roll kind of thing," he said.
The squirrel took off into the woods.
