Teacher with cancer gets surprise concert from entire school
More than 400 students gathered outside their teacher's window to sing songs to him as he battles cancer.
Video of the impromptu concert was shared on Facebook by none other than country music singer Tim McGraw. Since then, it has been shared more than 300,000 times.
Ben Ellis is a beloved Latin teacher at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville.
Ellis was diagnosed with esophageal cancer last December.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family," McGraw wrote on Facebook. "So precious and kind."

Leslie Ponder, an English teacher at the school, wrote on Facebook that a "spur of the moment" plan went into action last Wednesday. Students and faculty dropped everything, loaded onto buses and made the trip to Ellis' home.
Ellis is said to "love a good hymn" and the entire school beautifully sang many to him from his front lawn.
