A Washington state man won $70,000 from a lottery ticket as a result of a milk and cookies run.
"Well, I bought the ticket on a total whim," Wes LaRoque said. "I had come home from work and brought my wife a chocolate chip cookie, and it turns out we didn’t have any milk. Who can eat a cookie without milk?” he said. “So I went back to the store, and decided to pick up a ticket.”
The couple says they may use the money to take the honeymoon to Hawaii they never had.
According to a release, the Little Mountain Gas and Grocery, which sold the winning Washington's Lottery Hit 5 ticket, will also receive a $700 selling bonus.
