Just as the franchise has with its past releases, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has capitvated the nation.
This time, it's captivated and captured it in a literal sense.
First, President Obama ended his hourlong, end-of-the-year press conference with the line, "OK, everybody, I gotta get to 'Star Wars.'"
The White House screened the new film for Gold Star military families Friday, but there was more.
