Cups are not supposed to leak, right? Well, every year at this time, someone leaks what Starbucks' holiday cups will look like.

A Reddit user named DasUberSquid spilled the beans about the coffee chain's holiday cup design, posting a photo with the caption, "I peeked." The cups feature an abstract pattern with a bird and holly leaves. The caption was a reference to colorful stickers that read "no peeking" that are covering the boxes of holiday cups at Starbucks, the Business Insider reported.

That's a change from last year's design, when Starbucks released plain red cups.

Starbucks confirmed Tuesday that the green cups will be available at its stores in the U.S. "for a limited time while supplies last."

"The green cup and the design represent the connections Starbucks has as a community with its partners (employees) and customers," Starbucks chairman and CEO Howard Schultz said in a statement. "During a divisive time in our county, Starbucks wanted to create a symbol of unity as a reminder of our shared values, and the need to be good to each other."

Starbucks commissioned the art on the cup, which features a mosaic of people drawn in a continuous stroke, from Seattle-based artist Shogo Ota.
