Stanley Black & Decker has issued a voluntary recall of one of its wooden hammers sold exclusively at Walmart.

The recall states that the molded grip on the STANLEY® brand 16 ounce wooden handle nailing hammer could come loose, posing a risk to consumers.

Consumers with model number STHT51454 etched below the STANLEY logo can return them to Walmart to receive a refund in the form of a Walmart gift card for the purchase price.

There have been no incidents or injuries reported.

The hammer was sold Walmart stores nationwide from July 2018 through August 2019.
