Children from Newtown, Conn., came to the recording studio of Talking Heads' Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz for "A Song From Sandy Hook" project. Many of the children were students at Sandy Hook Elementary, where gunman killed 20 children and six educators in December.

Rolling Stone magazine reported that "with guidance from the project's producer, CBGB co-owner Tim Hayes, along with Newtown-based music teacher Sabrina Post, the group recorded "Over the Rainbow," accompanied by singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson on ukulele.

Rolling Stone reported that the song will will make its debut on "Good Morning America" Tuesday, Jan. 15, and will be available on iTunes and Amazon the same day.

All proceeds from the project will go to the non-profit Newtown Youth Academy and the United Way of Western Connecticut, Rolling Stone reported.
