You will want to keep an eye on your speed, not for going too fast, but for going too slow.
Indiana has added itself to the list of states that can issue tickets for driving too slow in the left lane as traffic lines up behind them, NBC News is reporting.
The fine could be as much as $500 and goes into effect on July 1.
USA Today reported that while $500 is the maximum, tickets may be for much less.
Indiana joins Georgia, where fines can be as high as $1,000.
Florida, where not only will drivers face a fine, but also three points on their license, if they're caught driving at least 10 mph below the limit.
According to NBC News, there are 40 states that have a penalty for slow drivers who don't move from the left lane.
Ohio is still working on a similar law.
