A block-long sinkhole swallowed cars after severe weather drenched much of the East Coast.
The Associated Press reported, several homes were evacuated after the road started falling away and taking cars with it, plummeting to railroad tracks sitting below the neighborhood hillside.
A building inspector had been called, Huffington Post reported.
There is no word on when the residents will be permitted to return to their homes.
CSX suspended rail traffic due to the slide.
According to Accuweather.com, Baltimore had almost 4.5 inches of rain leading up to the sinkhole.
