A Douglas County sheriff deputy is receiving some recognition on social media for his kindness.
According to Terri Lynne Puckett Barrington's Facebook page, Deputy Lewis Donald Fredenburg gave her little girl a ballon Thursday.
"Thank you Officer Fred Burg for showing my baby girl such sweet kindness," Barrington wrote. "She has not stopped bragging about her new police officer friend."
