Just before 5:45 p.m. Thursday, multiple eastbound vehicles were stopped for traffic.

Investigators said a man had jumped on top of a silver Toyota Corolla, causing about $3,000 in damage, KIRO7 reported.

The man allegedly got to another car and caused some damage, but the driver of that vehicle eft the area before officers came.

Police said the man jumped onto a black Tesla Model 3. The driver told officers the man jumped on the hood of his car and caused visible dents.

“(He) then threw his body against the Tesla’s windshield, severely damaging it,” according to the police report. Damage to the Tesla was estimated at $10,000.

After the Tesla, investigators said the man jumped on top of a gray Honda Civic, ripped the sunroof window off the car and jumped down onto the street. Damages to this car were estimated at $5,000.

Police said the man started to assault a parking enforcement officer, who was working as a flagger for a garage, with the sunroof.

The officer requested backup, but before police arrived, the man allegedly grabbed the officer’s face and stuck a finger into his eye socket.

Several bystanders helped the officer and held the man down until police arrived at the scene, the police report said.

When officers arrived at the scene, police said, he continued to struggle as they held him down.
Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center to be treated.
