Lucas Warren’s reign is coming to an end. Now Gerber is looking for the next face of its brand for the 2019 spokesbaby.
Lucas was chosen earlier this year from more than 140,000 candidates and he has a role in choosing who will follow in his tiny footsteps.
From Dalton, Georgia, Lucas is the first Gerber spokesbaby with Down syndrome.
"We're excited for Lucas to now pass the torch to our 2019 Gerber Spokesbaby by serving as an honorary judge on this year's panel," Gerber President and CEO Bill Partyka said in a company press release.
The contest opened Monday and will run until Oct. 20. Parents or legal guardians can post a photo on Instagram of their child who is between the age of birth and four years old. You must use the hashtag #GerberPhotoSearch2018.
The winner will be used on the company's social media channels and will get a grand prize of $50,000.
