The song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana is the most iconic song of all time, at least according to science.
Dr. Mick Grierson, a computer scientist and musician, selected songs from various lists claiming to be the best songs of all time. He "ran them through analytical software to compare their key, BPM, chord variety, lyrical content, timbral variety, and sonic variance,” according to Spin.com.
He claims the Nirvana hit came out on top, followed by John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
